Caramel Corn

1 1/2 c. unpopped corn
2 sticks butter
1/2 c, white corn syrup
2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp butter flavor
1/2 tsp salt


Boil butter, syrup, sugar, vanilla, butter flavor and salt for 5 minuets. Remove from heat add 1 tsp baking soda. Pour over popped corn and stir. Spread into deep oven pans and bake @ 250 for 40 mins, stirring every 10 mins.

Bisquick Banana Muffins

Ingredients

  • 4 Medium Mashed Bananas
  • 3 T Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1/3 C Sugar
  • 2 C Bisquick Baking Mix
  • ½ C chopped nuts {if desired}
  • 1/2 C chocolate chips {if desired}

Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 400. Paper line or grease a 12 muffin tin.
  2. Beat bananas, oil, egg and sugar in large bowl until well blended. Stir in baking mix, nuts, and chocolate chips just until baking mix is moistened (batter will be lumpy). Divide batter into muffin tin.
  3. Bake about 15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool muffins in pan 5 minutes; remove from pan to wire rack. Serve warm {and with milk please} ;)

Cole slaw for pulled pork


  • 16 oz. package shredded coleslaw
  • 1/4 c. pepperoncini, chopped
  • 1/4 c. diced red onion
  • 1/3 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1 T. red wine vinegar
  • 1 t. granulated garlic
  • 1 t. Dijon mustard
  • 1 t. sugar
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1/2 t. granulated onion
  • 1/2 t. lemon pepper
